Couloir Images specializes in outdoor adventure photography. Our motto, "Put down your camera and enjoy your adventure," reflects our belief that when an individual is trying to wrestle with technology, they aren't fully enjoying the moment. That's where Couloir Images comes in.

My name is Rory, and believe it or not, I was born in the Yampa Valley. I’ve been passionate about outdoor sports most of my life, and combined with my love of photography and guiding experience, I have found a very special niche in Steamboat that allows me to share my passions with others. When you look at your photos, I want you to feel the same way you felt when you reached the top of your rock climb or felt the snow feather across your face in a glorious puff of powder. I want you to re-live that feeling every time you look at your images.

With your love of adventure and my camera knowledge, you’ll have magazine quality photos to showcase your big day, a photo intense blog entry to share with friends, and a private, password protected online gallery. The best part about our relationship is that you won’t even know I’m tagging along on your adventure. We’ll do some group photos or individual portraits before you start your day, and then off you go! Let me be your camera; I’ll capture the great views, the action shots, and even your spectacular lunch, if you want. You can relax and enjoy your day, while I get the details. contains intellectual property owned by Couloir Images, Rory B.
